Please Donate... Every Penny Matters!
Please support us in our mission and vision... We need your partnership to continue to serve the animals currently in our care, those on the waitlist, and the people in our community who need the program services we offer.
There are tangible, measurable therapeutic benefits that occur when people interact with animals. Studies have shown that interaction with animals causes biochemical changes in the patient's brain and release neurotransmitters that improve mood and cause relaxation and suppression of anxiety. Please support us with a tax free donation today.

At Heartsong Pets Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, we believe that every animal has a story and deserves a chance
Meet Rosie
Rosie is a 17 year old quarter horse mare who we rescued in March of 2021. She came into our hands from a livestock auction scared, underweight, and covered in scars from a past unknown. With veterinary consultation and specialized treatment and nutrition plan, and the in best loving care and patience, she is now thriving.
We discovered that medically, she is blind in her right eye and has fibrotic myopathy in her hind legs (a build up of scar tissue that limits her mobility, but isn't painful). Despite her physical limitations, Rosie is sweet, the first one to greet you when you walk into the barn, and loves attention and grooming sessions. She has participated in our youth summer camps and is just the most gentle soul. Rosie now lives a pampered life with her loving adoptive family and equine sisters in Vancouver, WA.

Your Donation Allows Us to Make a Greater Impact
Heartsong Pets is passionate about transforming the lives of both the animals in our care and of those in our community.
Our organization is committed to increasing our fund raising goals annually as our programs continue to grow and adapt to current market need. We will continue to pursue all avenues of federal, private, and public sector program sponsor and grants available. We need your support.
Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation
We are a small no-kill rescue passionate about helping as many animals as possible. We dedicate 8-10 hours of daily care to ensure that our animals thrive. Stalls are cleaned twice daily, and bedded deep with pine shavings. Our rescues receive the best care and receive tailored feed and supplements as advised by our veterinarians.
Animal Assisted Therapy
Animal assisted therapy, as a complementary approach to traditional therapies, leads to several important benefits for patients suffering from mental illnesses. Its implementation in patients with diagnoses such as depression, autism, dementia, schizophrenia can achieve changes in their personality, behavior and physical health.
Community Outreach Programs
Our plans include therapy visits to area nursing homes and adult care facilities, daycare and both public and private schools. We have connections with a network of Clark County licensed psychologists who refer their clientele to our programs, many of whom are at risk youth in the foster care system.
